Question: Is teflon safe?
A: I can't test them on Teflon, but the bristles are a bit stiffer than I'd like. Please note that for some reason this item is non-returnable. If you are looking for a softer brush without scratches

Question: Can these be used to clean the grill?
Answer: The bristles are very soft to the utensils, so they are less likely to remove baking grime from the oven rack. Consider using a scouring pad or even steel wool.

A: The plastic base of the brush head is 1 3/8 inches wide (1.375 inches or 34.925 mm). The brush itself is fanned out and is about 2" (51mm) wide.
